On microcasette for future review

Attention residents of Philadelphia! We've been scheduled to play at the Beta Hi-Fi festival, held at the World Cafe on Walnut Street. We'll be on at 10 PM on Friday, August 24th. There are five bands playing that night, and the audience will vote for their favorites, who will play at the finals the next night. More details are on the Beta Hi-Fi site. Admission is free, so please come out and say hi(-fi) if you're in the area.

We got an album review in The Pittsbugh City Paper from the one and only Manny Theiner, proprietor of Garfield Artworks, the best place to see shows in Pittsburgh. He calls it "a tight, coherent suite of hyper-literate ditties." Go here for the rest.

In other news, west coast tour planning is proceeding slowly but surely. Watch this space for more announcements.
